I’m a wife and a mom of two boys, my daily life is messy and loud, and I LOVE it!
The moment I held a “fancy” camera in yearbook class way back in high school, I knew that documenting lives behind the lens was something I loved doing. After studying Advertising and Public Relations in college, I worked in the printing industry for 13 years before transitioning to a full time mom in 2011. My love for all things “creative” has resurfaced during this season of my life and has opened doors to allow me to pursue photography as a new career.
My Style
Simple and relaxed is my motto. The goal with each photo shoot is to capture unique moments in a tangible way in hopes that you will showcase your portraits for family and friends to enjoy. I use natural light for all my photographs, mostly on location in a park or at your home. I love to capture the laughing moments, the serious moments and sometimes the meltdown moments. As a mom, I understand temper tantrums and mood swings and I completely expect one or the other while photographing young children. Engaging with little ones can be challenging for sure, that is why I take the time to get to know you and your family before I start snapping away. The mission for each photo shoot is that we all have a fun and relaxing time while creating memories for your family to cherish for years to come.
