This is how it all works:
Step One: Schedule a Session Date
- Let’s discuss the best session package that will meet your needs.
- We will agree on a time and date.
- I will email you an online photography agreement along with a PayPal link for your $75 non-refundable security deposit.
- IMPORTANT: If we are shooting outdoors and the weather is questionable that day, we will need to communicate at least 3 hours before our scheduled shoot to come up with a plan “B”.
Step Two: Choose a Location
- My published fees are good for locations within a 20 mile radius of Forest, VA.
- Ideas for possible photo shoot locations: your yard, a friend’s yard, a park, Downtown Lynchburg, Downtown Bedford, a school, a church or someplace that is special to you and your family.
- If you choose to do portraits inside your home, it is ideal that there be plenty of light coming in from windows and doors. Be prepared for me to ask you if it is okay that I move some furniture/rugs around just so we can get optimal lighting.
Step Three: The Actual Photo Session
- I promise to be on time when meeting for your photo shoot, I’m counting on you to be as well.
- Feel free to bring special blankets, quilts, props, toys, balloons or whatever else you might want to include in your portraits.
- Let’s all relax, have fun, tell some jokes and have an overall great time!
Step Four: The Waiting Game
- Allow up to 1-2 weeks for online proofs to be ready.
- Disclaimer: I may have taken lots of photos of you and your family during our session, but I have full discretion on which ones make the final cut for editing. All photographs are the property of Missy Martin Photography.
